Myofascial Release decreases pain while restoring function and motion. Each treatment session is individualized and an hour of hands on treatment is provided to release restrictions and provide pain relief and improve ease of motion.  Myofascial Release is a whole body, hand-on approach taught by John F. Barnes.  This technique has an outstanding success rate.  MFR is a form of manual therapy that is applied directly to the skin. MFR consists of providing gentle, sustained pressure into restricted tissue. This pressure is applied for 3-5 minutes in order to achieve permanent elongation and change of the tissue allowing for increased range of motion, decreased pressure on pain sensitive structures, and eliminating pain.  Myofascial Release is appropriate for all ages as it is never forced and provided in a gentle, therapeutic manner.   Each treatment session is individualized and length of the session is typically one hour.
